Our Day at the Caravan & Camping Supershow – Melbourne 2025

If you love the idea of hitting the open road, exploring Australia's breathtaking landscapes, and enjoying the freedom of caravan or camper life, then the Caravan & Camping Supershow at the Melbourne Showgrounds was the place to be this February! We had an incredible day out, dreaming of one day traveling Australia in our very own home on wheels—whether we buy it or, fingers crossed, win one!

Highlights from the Show

This year’s event did not disappoint, showcasing the latest and greatest in caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, camping gear, and outdoor accessories. Some of our favourite highlights included:

🚐 Luxury Caravans & Campers – We toured a variety of stunning caravans, from compact, lightweight designs to full-sized luxury setups with all the bells and whistles.

⛺ Camping & Outdoor Gear – From high-tech solar panels to ultra-comfy camp chairs and off-grid essentials, there was something for every type of adventurer.

🐶 Pet-Friendly Travel Options – We were excited to see more pet-friendly caravan setups, making it easier for dog lovers like us to take their furry friends on the road.

🎟️ Giveaways & Competitions – We entered a few amazing competitions, hoping to win the caravan of our dreams. We can only just imagine setting off on a big lap of Australia with Luna in tow!

🌭 Delicious Food & Family Fun – With plenty of food trucks and entertainment, it was a fantastic day out for families and adventure seekers alike.

Luna’s Supershow Experience

Of course, we couldn’t leave our adventure-loving pup behind! Luna joined us in style, cruising through the showgrounds in her Modern Pets Ibiyaya Pet Stroller. She loved the attention (and all the friendly pats) as we explored the different pavillions. Having her with us was a great reminder that any future road trips will 100% be pet-friendly!

When’s the Next Show?

If you missed out this time, don’t worry! The next Caravan & Camping Leisurefest will be held in Wodonga in April, at Sandown Racecourse in September (we went to this last year) and then finishes up in Bendigo in November. To attend the next Supershow at the Melbourne Showgrounds you'll have to wait for February 2026. Maybe by then, we’ll be one step closer to making our Aussie travel dreams a reality!
